Privacy Policy for FastSpend Tracker

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is handled in the FastSpend Tracker application.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and name. This is used for authentication and to personalize your experience.
  • Financial Data: All financial data you enter, including transactions, categories, and goals, is encrypted on your device before being sent to our servers. We do not have the ability to access or read this information.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and maintain the app's service, including syncing your encrypted data across your devices.
  • To authenticate your account and prevent unauthorized access.

3. Data Security

Your financial data is protected by end-to-end encryption. Only you can decrypt and view your information with your password, which is never transmitted to our servers.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share your personal or financial data with any third parties.

5. Account and Data Deletion

You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. You can do this in two ways:

Method 1: In-App Deletion

  1. Navigate to the **Sync** tab within the FastSpend Tracker app.
  2. Scroll down to the **Danger Zone** section.
  3. Click the **"Clear Cloud Backup"** button.
  4. You will be asked to confirm this action. This process is irreversible and will permanently delete all your data from the app and our servers.

Method 2: Deletion by Email Request

  1. Send an email to info@hldapp.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
  2. Please include the email address associated with your FastSpend Tracker account in the body of the email so we can verify your identity.

Upon deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • Your user account and authentication information (name, email).
  • All your encrypted financial data, including transactions, categories, goals, and payment methods stored on our servers.
  • Your encryption salt.

This process is irreversible. Once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered. There is no additional retention period; data is removed promptly after the deletion process is completed.
